Radiation Therapy : Dosimetry Diode
Dosimetry Diode The Dosimetry Diode is a p-type Si diode designed for dose measurements in high-energy photon beams. Applications are IMRT, stereotactic beams, brachytherapy and water phantom scanning.

Features:
  • Small sensitive volume shaped as a disk with an area of 1 mm² and a thickness of only 2.5 µm allows the use in small beams, as well as data acquisition with a very good spatial resolution
  • Suitable for high precision dosimetry measurements because of the favourable signal-to-noise ratio
  • Waterproof, can be used in water phantoms without additional protective sleeves
