Radiation Therapy : Waterproof PTW PinPoint® Chamber

0.015 cmł Type 31006 The waterproof 0.015 cmł PinPoint ionization chamber has been specially designed for stereotactic field measurements in radiation therapy. With its inner diameter of only 2 mm, the PinPoint chamber is ideally suited for relative beam profile measurements in a motorized water phantom where superior spatial resolution is desired. After calibration by the user in comparison with a calibrated therapy chamber, the PinPoint chamber can be used for depth dose and absolute dose measurements. The sensitive volume is vented. The wall material is graphite with a protective acrylic cover. The guard ring borders the measuring volume. The nominal useful energy range is Co-60 up to 50 MV photons. The chamber has a short stem for mounting and a flexible connection cable. It can be supplied with different connector types.
