Hand Held Survey Meters : IdentiFINDER Digital Spectrometer

The portable identiFINDER has similar features to the FH 40 G NBR Detection System with one notable addition - the identiFINDER can identify the exact isotope. The identiFINDER distinguishes between non-mode (ie; dirty bomb) and natural isotypes (ie; medical isotypes). Its complete gamma spectroscopy system provides the user with a real time isotype identification capability. Knowing the exact isotype enables more effective and efficent cleanup. Find, Quantify and Identify Radioactive Material The identiFINDER is the leading handheld radiation spectrometer / identifier, dose-ratemeter and nuclide finder. In use, the identiFINDER displays dose-rate to indicate the level of radioactive hazard. In finder mode it enables any user to find radioactive material with a clear display and intuitive audio. When the 'hot-spot' is found the identification mode will sample the gamma fingerprint of the source and identify the isotope. The identiFINDER will clearly display the nuclide and the type of source; medical, nuclear weapons, industrial, after nuclear event (OSI/CTBTO) or whether it appears in a user-defined library. The identiFINDER can identify more than one isotope simultaneously from a current library or 72 isotopes. User-defined libraries and isotopes can be added. Spectrum data collected in the field can be downloaded to a PC for further analysis.
